Cell animation

Cell animation is cartoon animation that is usually 25 frames per second but with it been hand drawn it is a very long process, however it was the first process of animated cartoon to be created.

how pixilation works

Pixilation works by means of taking a picture slightly moving the image and repeating this to make the pictures look like they're moving when put together.

what I did today

today we did our first pixilation film and it was of a race around the classroom. I thought it was pretty good in all fairness. Pixilation involves a technique of taking lots of photographs in frequently to make something look like its moving.

what I did today ;)

today in my group we made a cut out animation that is a spectacle for all to see. In my group there is adam, emily t, amy, and me, and we all had fun :) unfortunately there is no sound so the animation isn't complete yet, but it shall be... it shall be...
