my feature length film of awesomeness

This film doesn't really follow a set story, more of a random happenings. anyways I made this by using Istop motion and Imovie. simple as a simple thing can be. however towards this in Istop motion I used a webcam and the program, slowly capturing images whilst slowly moving the model. In Imovie I simply added a title and credits. Bang bang skeet skeet.

Cell animation

Cell animation is cartoon animation that is usually 25 frames per second but with it been hand drawn it is a very long process, however it was the first process of animated cartoon to be created.

how pixilation works

Pixilation works by means of taking a picture slightly moving the image and repeating this to make the pictures look like they're moving when put together.

example of pixilation

pixilation class example

persistence of vision... yay!!!!! :|

Persistence of vision is when a still image is used and replaced instantly by another still image to give the illusion the image is moving. It only works however if the image is changed almost un-noticeably, about at least 12 times a second. An example of persistence of vision would be cartoons, as they use hundreds of still frames changing slightly 12 times every second.
